Location data from my iPhone

Here’s a fascinating visualization of where I hung out in the last year created by iPhoneTracker. Some of the data is based on tower triangulation, so it is not 100% accurate. For example, I can’t remember going to Canada, but I did kayak off San Juan island.

 

iPhoneTracker is an open-source application that maps the location data that your iPhone has recorded. It only displays data from hidden files on your computer.

  2. Cool~ also the graphical representation is great. I hope there’s no negative impact to us consumer with this. I wonder why they have to record all that data.
