Music

These are the tracks I bought last night. I hadn’t put together a CD in a while. These were mostly added to a playlist during the course of last fall. I am still primarily buying music from Napster, but I’m keeping an eye on the iTunes catalog. iTunes seems to have better artists lately, but I can’t stand the 30 second samples (I would subscribe if I could). I did buy a couple of the “iTunes Original CD’s” which include artist interviews and alternate recordings.

No Wow – The Kills
Banquet (Phones Disco Edit) – Bloc Party
Blue Light (Engineers’ Anti-Gravity Mix) – Bloc Party
Daft Punk is Playing at my House – LCD Soundsystem
Destroy Everything You Touch – Ladytron
Eyes Without a Face – Paul Anka
Helicopter (Whitey Version) – Bloc Party
Mushaboom – Feist
Narc (Plenti Remix) – Interpol
Over My Shoulder (Album Version) – I Am Kloot
Positive Tension (Blackbox Remix) – Bloc Party
Prelude from Suite No. 1 in G Major for Cello, BWV 1007 – Yo Yo Ma
Saeglopur – Sigur Ros
Saturdays (LP Version) – Cut Copy
Today Has Been Okay – Emiliana Torrini
We Will Become Silhouettes – Death Cab for Cutie
About the Picture – Smoosh

Also, on my bus this morning probably 1/3rd of the people had headphones on. Mostly iPods. It is weird to see so many people trying to tune each other out.
